Description

Basic Function / Duties:

1) Develop and control work scopes for all Engines, Auxiliary Power Units (APU)s, Landing Gear and related components.

2) Coordinate with repair vendors to minimize turnaround time and reduce repair and overhaul costs.

3) Provide budgetary input and review vendor invoices.

4) Propose changes to the maintenance programs based upon tear-down findings and reliability analysis.

5) Work with Warranty administrator to identify warranty items and ensure warranty claims are honored.

6) Work closely with the planning and maintenance departments to coordinate powerplant removal /

installation scheduling.

7) Ensure sufficient availability of spares.

8) Manage the Engine Condition Trend Monitoring Program (ECTM).

9) Provide technical support for the maintenance and quality control departments.

10) Evaluate manufactures Service Bulletins, Service Letter, Information Bulletins, ADs, etc. for

incorporation.

11) Ensure technical assistance is provided as necessary.

12) Assist the warranty administrator to ascertain that claims are established and assist with technical

issues that pertain to claims

13) Provide weekly and monthly utilization reports on all Engines, APU and L/G status.ย 

14) Perform other duties as assigned by the DOM.
