Senior Application Engineer (Legal Technology)

Salary: Open + Bonus

Location: Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX

Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in advanced application support, configuration, or innovation focused technical roles
  • Strong expertise with e discovery and litigation technology platforms (e.g., Relativity Server/One, Reveal, BrainSpace)
  • Experience working with emerging AI and automation technologies
  • Solid understanding of application and data integrations, including APIs, ETL, and data pipelines
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL, Linux environments, REST APIs, and PowerShell scripting

Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimize legal and litigation technology solutions to meet advanced firm requirements
  • Lead the integration of cloud and on premises data sources into SaaS platforms
  • Serve as a senior escalation point, providing Level 3 application support and resolving complex Level 2 issues
  • Partner with vendors to ensure alignment with firm standards, best practices, and efficiency goals
  • Manage system upgrades, conversions, and enhancements in coordination with non-IT business partners
  • Ensure all applications comply with security, governance, and compliance standards
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Act as a subject matter expert for technology initiatives within Litigation Practice Delivery
  • Provide operational support, including participation in a shared-on call rotation
