AdvanceCare Health Services, LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Application Assistant to assist in the initial applicant recruiting process.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, strong computer skills, professionalism and enjoys communicating with people. This position is well suited for someone looking for flexible, part-time work, while gaining experience or retired and looking for something to keep skills and mind sharp while helping to support the hiring process. They would not need direct recruiting or HR experience.
The Application Assistant will manage online job postings, review incoming applications, communicate with qualified candidates, and schedule interviews or forward qualified applicants to the appropriate hiring department. This position supports the hiring process but is not part of the Human Resources department and does not make hiring decisions.
This is a part-time contract position requiring 5 to 10 hours per week. You will need to have a 27" or larger monitor, keyboard, and mouse to use with our company-issued laptop. You must have high-speed internet.
Responsibilities:
  • Post and maintain job openings using Indeed and other posting boards such as BambooHR.
  • Monitor incoming job applications and review resumes.
  • Contact qualified applicants by email.
  • Send rejection notices to unqualified applicants.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers or forward qualified candidates to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain accurate applicant statistics (received, contacted, reponses, etc.)
  • Respond professionally and promptly to applicant inquiries.
  • Remove or update job postings as needed.
  • Perform other recruiting support and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or clerical experience
  • Comfortable using computers, email, and online software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with Indeed or similar applicant systems is a plus but not required.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards

Work Environment:
This is a part-time contract work-from-home arrangement, using company-provided systems to stay connected and productive. It requires a quiet, professional workspace when working from home, reliable internet, and the ability to stay focused and organized without direct supervision. Regular communication with leadership and timely responsiveness is essential when working from home.
