The DevOps Engineer is an important member of the engineering organization responsible for supporting reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and deployment automation. This role partners closely with Software Engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and enhance the operational maturity of Faro Health's cloud-native SaaS platform.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure and automation challenges, improving developer productivity, and contributing to modern DevOps practices across Azure, GCP, and AWS environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD automation to improve software delivery velocity, consistency, and reliability.
  • Assist in managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and related tooling.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to support deployment automation and cloud-native application operations.
  • Monitor system reliability, availability, and performance, helping troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues.
  • Contribute to containerized application deployments using Kubernetes and Docker technologies.
  • Participate in infrastructure improvements focused on scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Support platform observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • Research and evaluate emerging DevOps tools and technologies to improve engineering workflows and platform capabilities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities as needed.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Software Engineering roles.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Kubernetes and related technologies such as Docker and Helm.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience working in agile engineering environments with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to operational excellence.
  • Ability to balance speed, reliability, and maintainability in infrastructure and automation solutions.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving business and technical requirements.
Skills and Competencies
  • Cloud Platform: Experience with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with cloud networking, compute, storage, and security fundamentals. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals. Familiarity with HELM and container deployment workflows is preferred.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines. Ability to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Scripting & Development Support: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, NodeJs, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity supporting applications built with technologies such as Node.js and Python.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Understanding of system reliability, troubleshooting, and incident response practices.
  • Interest in applying AI-assisted tooling and automation to DevOps workflows is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits
Salary
Salary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 per year.
Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
