JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Operations Engineer to join our Emerging Technology organization, supporting AI Solution Engineering and AI R&D teams. Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, this role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of AI-driven applications across their full lifecycle.
This is a hands-on, mid-level role focused on DevOps, MLOps, and production support. You will play a key role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting applications from early-stage development through production, including participating in on-call rotations and handling break-glass scenarios.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in development and systems engineering, thrives in ambiguous environments, and is excited to work at the intersection of infrastructure, operations, and AI. You will also help shape processes and workflows in partnership with engineering teams and product operations, contributing to how this function evolves over time.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support end-to-end operations for AI-driven applications, including release support, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Participate in on-call rotations and own break-glass production support to ensure system reliability and uptime, including knowledge base and self service mechanisms
  • Own and manage infrastructure support and deployment using CI/CD pipelines targeting cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), ensuring scalable and repeatable environments
  • Collaborate with AI Solution Engineering, AI R&D, and Product Operations to define and implement operational processes and workflows
  • Contribute to pipeline, version control practices, and release management across multiple applications and deployments
  • Work with and support end customers onboarding and utilizing deployed platforms

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or software engineering roles with operational responsibilities
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • Experience supporting production systems, including on-call rotations and incident response
  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to contribute to codebases and automation
  • Strong experience working in Linux environments and modern IDEs
  • Experience with AI/ML pipelines and AI tooling/frameworks (agents, etc.)
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience running microservice-oriented containerized application stacks
  • Familiarity with AI/ML product lifecycles and deploying AI-driven applications
  • Deep experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure and services
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and contribute to defining processes and best practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams
  • Experience working closely with product and program management teams
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
  • Experience working closely with product and program management teams
  • Interest in expanding into broader ownership across the full product and release lifecycle
  • Experience in media, streaming, or digital content delivery environments
