Moog's IT Applications Development Team is looking for a Quality System/Application Administrator!
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for the TipQA Quality software used within Moog. You will ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the TipQA infrastructure, while also assisting functional subject matter experts with application-related support needs.
To qualify for the Quality System/Application Administrator opportunity, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...
  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience working with quality software.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and application servers.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and vendor portals.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

As the Quality System/Application Administrator, you will have both primary and secondary responsibilities...
Primary
  • Administer and support the TipQA infrastructure, including:
    • Oracle database (no DBA responsibilities, but SQL proficiency required)
    • Application server
    • ERP interfaces
    • Vendor portal
  • Manage and execute software upgrades, patches, and implementations.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to maintain system availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Secondary
  • Assist functional SMEs with application-related issues and inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets escalated by the Quality Support team.
  • Provide guidance and support to end users to ensure effective use of the TipQA application.
