Job Summary:
The E3D Administrator, Cats & Specs will be responsible for developing and maintaining the E3D project catalogs and specifications as well as assisting the design team in preparing layouts and design of complex offshore piping, structural, E&I design systems utilizing Company 2D and 3D modeling software.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create E3D projects.
• Install and deliver existing E3D projects to and from clients including third-party contractors.
• Create and maintain E3D catalogs.
• Create and maintain Project E3D specifications.
• Assist the design team in resolving CAD software issues and user issues.
• Ensure that there are no internal & external software integration problems.
• Conduct software training.
• Coordinate with project teams on determining and addressing project priorities.
• Interact with employees and clients on project and CAD related issues.
• Assist in preparing layouts and Engineering drawings for assigned projects from information and/or verbal instructions with little or no supervision required.
• Ensure that your work adheres to Client, Industry and Company Standards.
• Responsible for keeping the Lead Designer and direct Supervisors updated on all concerns relating to their respective assignments and discipline.
• Other various project responsibilities as required.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
    Requires a High School diploma or equivalent; Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of directly relevant design experience relating to the Upstream Oil & Gas market. Must have advanced working knowledge of Company 2D and 3D software. (PDMS/ E3D, and AutoCAD);
  • Expert knowledge of the Design/Model Module, Monitor, Paragon, Specon, Progon, Draft/Draw, Isodraft, and Spool Modules.
  • Must have advanced working knowledge of AVEVA Global and AVEVA NET.
  • Must have advanced working knowledge of E3D's Model, Draw, Isodraft, and Spool Modules, including Status Control, Data Consistency, Material & Weight Reporting.
  • Requires knowledge and the ability to work with MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

• Ability and availability to work occasional overtime to include weekends as dictated by project requirements.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
Working Conditions:
• Work is primarily conducted in an office environment but may require occasional travel to off-site work locations.
• Field duties require outdoor work in a plant or offshore platform atmosphere;
• Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
• Working offshore or in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels;
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes;
• May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
