Job Description
• Administrator will work on a team of engineers supporting an enterprise data center environment
• Managing the daily activities of configuration, maintenance, patching, updating and troubleshooting of the Windows operational systems
• Optimizing physical and virtual systems and resource utilization, while continuing to provide system capacity analysis and planning
• Assists with development to include a viable quality assurance process for monitoring and managing the computing environment throughout the lifecycle
• Use of in-house developed/commercial Monitoring and Management tools
• Plan and execute the installation and configuration of Windows
• Configure, optimize, monitor, operate and maintain systems throughout lifecycle
• Plan and execute patches and troubleshooting problems
• Configure Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2. Deep understanding of GPO, File/Folder Replication and Windows domain knowledge.
• Install, configure and manage MS products such as IIS, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a computer related field and a minimum of 7 years of Windows system management experience
• Minimum 5 years of current, progressive, and specialized work experience supporting, administering and implementing Electronic Mail system systems such as Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 along with the related supporting infrastructure including instant messaging, spam protection and antivirus solutions.
• Proven experience in administration and troubleshooting Exchange 2010\2013 systems with particular experience with AD, DAG's and multiple site deployments
• Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP sub netting, routing, SMTP protocol, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Experience with the following: Virtualized Servers, PowerShell, Exchange monitoring, Domain service, Active Directory, Microsoft Forefront Server Protection, Operations Manager for managing Exchange, Kaspersky/Symantec Antivirus
• Strong project Management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
