An IT Support Apprenticeship is an entry-level role where you gain hands-on experience in IT support while studying for relevant qualifications. Apprentices assist with troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining computer systems, and providing support to users. This role is ideal for those looking to start a career in IT, as it combines practical work with structured learning.
As an IT Support Apprentice, you will typically assist with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues, setting up and maintaining hardware and software, and responding to support requests from employees or clients. You'll often work closely with experienced IT staff, learning to document support tickets, follow troubleshooting procedures, and provide clear guidance to users. This hands-on experience helps you build both technical skills and confidence in problem-solving while preparing you for more advanced IT roles in the future.
