What are Amazon Partners?

Amazon Partners are individuals or businesses that collaborate with Amazon through various partnership programs, such as the Amazon Partner Network, Amazon Associates, or Amazon Service Provider Network. These partners may help with selling products, providing services, or integrating technologies that enhance the Amazon ecosystem. Depending on the program, Amazon Partners can earn commissions, access special tools and data, and receive support to grow their business alongside Amazon. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Amazon Partner, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Amazon Partner, you need strong business acumen, e-commerce knowledge, and experience in sales or account management, often supported by familiarity with Amazon's marketplace. Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central, analytical tools, and understanding of digital marketing platforms is crucial. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills help foster successful partnerships and resolve issues effectively. These skills ensure effective collaboration, drive business growth, and maximize value within Amazon's dynamic ecosystem.

Is a CDL worth the cost?

For an Amazon Partner involved in logistics or delivery, obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) can be valuable if the role requires driving large vehicles or operating specialized equipment. Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
The Copywriter brings fresh creative approaches and tactical solutions to the campaign workflow-from concept and messaging to final copy delivery. As the voice of Leo, you'll craft consistent, compelling narratives that guide customers, business partners, and government stakeholders through every touchpoint of their journey with Leo-whether that's a social post, product page, email campaign, event experience, or video script.
With a growing knowledge of the Amazon portfolio and Leo's unique positioning, you'll have a strong point of view on creative execution and collaborate closely across the team to deliver bar-raising brand experiences. You'll contribute to copy development on campaigns of varying complexity-sometimes supporting senior creatives on larger initiatives, other times driving the copywriting for small- to mid-sized executions with guidance from creative leadership. You'll also leverage generative AI tools to enhance creative workflows, using them to develop internal briefs, explore conceptual directions, and accelerate ideation processes.
Key job responsibilities
Voice of Leo Across the Customer Journey
- Execute Leo's brand voice and tone across all customer touchpoints-from first awareness through consideration, purchase, onboarding, and advocacy
- Ensure messaging consistency across the full spectrum of media: digital (web, social, display, email), video, experiential (events, activations), print, PR, and internal communications
- Adapt Leo's voice appropriately for consumer (B2C), business (B2B), and government (B2G) audiences while maintaining brand consistency
- Develop and maintain messaging frameworks and voice guidelines that scale across teams and channels
Creative Development
- Accountable for end-to-end copy development, from pitch to launch, on Leo's small- to mid-sized campaigns across B2C, B2B (AWS), and B2G audiences
- Articulate creative concepts and rationale internally and externally through growing communication skills and shared pitch presentations
- Address the strategy and client needs, as defined in the creative brief, through creative ideation and campaign development
- Consider Amazon Leo's brand tone and voice in creative ideation and execution across diverse audience segments and customer journey stages
Copy Excellence Across All Media and Touchpoints
- Produce original copy with great attention to narrative consistency, voice, and tone for all campaign deliverables across digital, video, experiential, print, and social channels
- Write compelling copy for the full customer journey: awareness campaigns, product detail pages, email nurture sequences, video scripts, event experiences, PR communications, and internal initiatives
- Ensure copy accuracy on all deliverables via ownership of campaign messaging style guides
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that resonate at every stage of the customer journey
Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate with Design Technologists, Solutions Managers, Art Directors, and Creative Directors to vet tactical copy/creative across Amazon
- Partner with Product Marketing Management (PMM), Industrial Design, and cross-functional teams to ensure voice consistency across all customer touchpoints
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life
Your morning starts reviewing copy for Amazon Leo's latest service launch-refining messaging across the customer journey from awareness to consideration to conversion. You join a creative sync with Art Directors to concept a B2B campaign for enterprise partners, then shift gears to write video scripts for an upcoming AWS re:Invent keynote. After lunch, you're workshopping headlines with Creative Directors, ensuring Leo's voice remains consistent whether we're speaking to consumers, enterprises, or agencies. You close the day reviewing A+ content and providing feedback to internal and external parters, always asking: does this sound like Leo?
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of content creation or similar experience
- Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and executional craft across multiple mediums (digital, print, video, experiential, social)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with scripted and unscripted storytelling, live-action as well as animation workflows
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives across the customer journey
- Experience developing brand voice guidelines and messaging frameworks
- Experience executing brand voice across multiple audiences (B2C, B2B and B2G) and industry verticals
- Working knowledge of industry-standard creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar design software
- Experience writing for brand/product launches, event- and experiential-based marketing
