Job description

At Chick-fil-A, the Kitchen Manager position is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity. We are seeking an individual to be a part of our rewarding team. Applicants must be hard working, fast moving, responsible, and quick thinking. They should also exhibit the ability to go the extra mile and make personal connections with every guest.

Responsibilities:

  • Everything behind the swinging door during the shift
  • Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements
  • Coaching the behaviors of all Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen
  • Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
  • Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen
  • Daily assign kitchen crew to positions and ensure all pickup/delivery orders are made in a timely manner
  • Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Kitchen Team Members
  • Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment used in the Kitchen
  • Track and eliminate waste of food 
  • Responsible for all checklists, truck orders, and produce orders

Qualifications: 

  • High school degree is required. BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management is preferred
  • A minimum of (3) years of experience in the hospitality industry specifically in Management
  • Available 5am-2pm Monday-Saturday
  • Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
  • A passion for people and service
  • Able to lead, coach and delegate a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop others
  • Eagerness to learn and improve yourself
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
