We also amplify employee and agency volunteerism, support communities before and after disasters, and equip nonprofit leaders through our Nonprofit Leadership Center.
About the Role
The Associate Manager, Operations, Governance & AI Enablement supports operational implementation, governance processes, and AI integration across The Allstate Foundation and Social impact team's portfolio.
This role is responsible for managing core coordination and execution across operational systems, governance activities, and emerging AI initiatives. This role will also partner closely with corporate finance and accounting teams, serving as a liaison for the team and ensuring strong coordination, alignment and information flow
This position operates by owning defined areas of work, executing against established priorities, the potential for managing contractors or full-time employees and supporting leadership and program leads to ensure operational and governance consistency, organization and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Governance Coordination
  • Provide support to team leadership to coordinate planning and execution of Trustee and Grant Committee meetings, including schedules, materials and communications

  • Manage workback timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned across the team

  • Support development and assembly of meeting materials in partnership with program leads and leadership

  • Maintain organized governance processes, documentation, and tracking

AI Integration & Execution Support
  • Support identification and coordination of opportunities to use AI across the Social Impact team

  • Help manage AI-related projects, including coordination with internal stakeholders and enterprise technology partners

  • Assist with logistics and execution of AI training and adoption efforts in partnership with team leadership

  • Track AI-related workstreams, milestones, and follow-ups

Operational Coordination & Systems Support
  • Oversee grantmaking processes across the team, including documentation, approvals, coordination with software vendors and process improvements.

  • Help ensure alignment between governance timelines, program execution and reporting needs

  • Maintain documentation, trackers and systems that support team operations

  • Coordinate with operations and grants systems partners on updates and issue resolution

  • Identify opportunities to improve or streamline recurring processes and support implementation

Finance Coordination
  • Serve as a point of coordination with departmental Finance team, Corporate Accounting and related partners

  • Ensure accurate and timely flow of financial information between teams

  • Provide feedback and support to teams managing our finances to ensure accuracy and efficiency of our financial management processes.

Disaster Response Coordination
  • Support coordination of the Foundation's philanthropic disaster response efforts, as determined

  • Help execute against established giving models and processes

  • Coordinate internal alignment and logistics during response efforts

Qualifications
  • Experience supporting work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams

  • Experience coordinating projects, timelines and deliverables across stakeholders

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • Ability to execute defined responsibilities while exercising sound judgment and escalation when needed

  • Comfort learning and applying new tools, including AI-enabled solutions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with operational or tracking systems

  • High proficiency in grants management software and processes, Power BI and other operational technology tools

  • Proficiency in analyzing and using data to make informed recommendations and decisions

  • Willingness to travel 10-15% for meetings, convenings and events

  • Remote; open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 75,100.00 - 126,325.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
