Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Allergy Clinic team in Apple Valley. This role is ideal for a team-oriented nurse who enjoys direct patient care, education, and working in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role offfers a full time schedule, M-F 8/8:30a-4:30/5p.
This clinic sees a variety of allergy patients daily, including:
- Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) appointments
- Routine clinic follow-ups
- Allergy injections
Responsibilities
- Perform allergy skin prick and intradermal testing
- Administer allergy immunotherapy injections
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Educate patients on medications, environmental controls, and anaphylaxis action plans
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and spirometry testing
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and patients regarding treatment plans and prescription refills
- Support a collaborative, team-focused clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Minnesota RN license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Online-only certifications will not be accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience
- Allergy clinic or allergy injection experience
- Previous outpatient or clinic nursing experience
