Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure all properties are maintained to high cleanliness standards. This position is responsible for managing cleaning staff, coordinating schedules, conducting inspections, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent guest and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

·        Supervise and support cleaning staff on daily tasks and performance

·        Create and manage cleaning schedules to ensure timely turnovers and cleanings

·        Inspect properties and units to ensure cleanliness standards are met

·        Inspect properties for damages and report immediately

·        Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company expectations

·        Monitor cleaning supplies inventory

·        Communicate with management regarding maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs

·        Address and resolve cleaning-related concerns or complaints promptly

·        Ensure all staff follow company policies and safety procedures

·        Assist with cleaning duties when needed to maintain operational efficiency

·        Maintain accurate records of completed cleanings, inspections, and staff performance

Short-Term Rental (Airbnb) Cleaning

·        Performing full property resets between guest stays

·        Change and properly stage linens and bedding

·        Restock toiletries, paper products, and guest supplies

·        Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms to hospitality standards

·        Wipe down appliances (inside & out)

·        Stage property according to checklist (pillows, décor, lights on/off, thermostat settings)

·        Ensure property is guest-ready before check-in time

Apartment Turnover Cleaning

  • Deep clean vacant units prior to new tenant move-in
  • Clean inside cabinets, drawers, closets
  • Scrub appliances (oven, refrigerator, microwave)
  • Clean baseboards, doors, trim, and vents
  • Ensure unit meets move-in inspection standards
  • Report maintenance or repair issues

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning and/or management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
