Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to service short-term rental properties and apartment turnover units. This position requires efficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prepare units to a high-quality standard within strict timeframes.

The ideal candidate understands that guest satisfaction and move-in readiness depend on cleanliness, presentation, and consistency.


Key Responsibilities

Short-Term Rental (Airbnb) Cleaning

  • Perform full property resets between guest stays
  • Change and properly stage linens and bedding
  • Restock toiletries, paper products, and guest supplies
  • Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms to hospitality standards
  • Wipe down appliances (inside & out)
  • Inspect for damages and report immediately
  • Stage property according to checklist (pillows, décor, lights on/off, thermostat settings)
  • Ensure property is guest-ready before check-in time

Apartment Turnover Cleaning

  • Deep clean vacant units prior to new tenant move-in
  • Clean inside cabinets, drawers, closets
  • Scrub appliances (oven, refrigerator, microwave)
  • Clean baseboards, doors, trim, and vents
  • Ensure unit meets move-in inspection standards
  • Report maintenance or repair issues

Performance Expectations

  • Complete assigned units within scheduled timeframe
  • Follow detailed cleaning checklist
  • Maintain consistent quality standards
