Job description

Airbnb Cleaning Technician / Property Care Specialist (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Up to Par Cleaning - Longview, WA

Do you enjoy staying active, take pride in creating beautifully presented spaces, and love the satisfaction of transforming a home?

Join our growing Airbnb Cleaning & Property Care Team! We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences. This is more than a cleaning position-our team helps prepare vacation rental homes to the highest standards while protecting our clients' investments.

We believe a great Airbnb turnover is more than a clean home-it's an experience. We're looking for someone who notices the little details, takes pride in making beautiful beds, stages homes with care, and creates a space where every guest immediately feels welcome.

While your primary focus will be Airbnb turnovers and vacation rental management, you may also assist with residential and commercial cleaning services as business needs require.

If you're looking for a rewarding daytime position with opportunities to grow, we'd love to meet you!

What We Offer

  • Part-time and full-time opportunities available
  • Competitive pay: $19-$24 per hour, depending on experience and performance
  • Paid orientation and hands-on field training
  • Performance-based wage increases
  • Clear opportunities for advancement and leadership
  • Primarily daytime schedule
  • Variety of unique vacation rental properties
  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment
  • Many of our Airbnb hosts generously offer tips in appreciation of exceptional service. While tips are never guaranteed, they are a valued bonus enjoyed by many of our team members.

Schedule & Hours

We offer both part-time and full-time positions.

Most Airbnb turnover cleanings take place between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a primarily daytime schedule rather than evenings or overnight shifts.

Because our Airbnb properties operate seven days a week, schedules are based on guest reservations and our hosts' cleaning needs.

Applicants must be willing and available to assist with weekend Airbnb turnovers as needed, as weekends are often our busiest days.

Flexibility for occasional earlier start times, later finish times, and weekend work is an essential part of this position.

Typical schedule includes:

  • Part-time or full-time opportunities
  • Primarily daytime hours
  • Rotating weekend availability required
  • Additional hours available during peak seasons
  • Opportunities to assist with residential and commercial cleaning to maintain consistent hours

When Airbnb turnovers are completed early, team members may assist with residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, move-in/move-out cleanings, laundry, inventory organization, office projects, or supply preparation.

What You'll Do

As an Airbnb Cleaning Technician / Property Care Specialist, you'll prepare vacation rentals for arriving guests by ensuring every property is spotless, fully stocked, beautifully presented, and ready for a five-star stay.

Airbnb Turnovers

  • Complete detailed turnover cleanings between guest stays.
  • Work independently or as part of a two-person team, depending on the property and scheduling needs.
  • Meet strict guest check-in deadlines.
  • Follow detailed property-specific cleaning procedures and checklists.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality results.

Property Walk-Throughs

Upon arrival and before leaving, you will:

  • Complete a thorough walkthrough of the property.
  • Check for guest belongings.
  • Identify damage, maintenance concerns, missing inventory, or excessive wear.
  • Photograph and report concerns to the office.
  • Verify furniture, decor, remotes, appliances, and guest amenities are properly placed and accounted for.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Complete a final quality inspection before departure.

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Strip beds immediately upon arrival.
  • Start laundry first to maximize efficiency.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and make beds according to company standards.
  • Create crisp, welcoming, hotel-quality bed presentations.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
  • Transport laundry when required.

Guest Presentation

Help create an exceptional first impression by:

  • Making beautifully presented beds.
  • Folding towels to company standards.
  • Organizing coffee stations.
  • Staging dining tables when applicable.
  • Filling water pitchers and ice trays.
  • Returning furniture to designated locations.
  • Preparing indoor and outdoor guest spaces.
  • Ensuring every home feels welcoming, organized, and ready for arriving guests.

Restocking & Inventory

Restock and organize guest supplies including:

  • Coffee and beverage stations
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
  • Guest amenities
  • Kitchen supplies
  • Trash bags

Report low inventory and help maintain organized supply storage for each property.

Additional Cleaning Services

When Airbnb schedules allow, you may also assist with:

  • Residential cleaning
  • Deep cleaning
  • Commercial janitorial services
  • Move-in/move-out cleaning
  • Office cleaning
  • Window cleaning assistance

  • Works efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Takes ownership of their work and treats every property as if it were their own.
