Hanwha Q CELLS America is looking for a Legal Assistant to providing a general administrative support to the ES Legal Department You will join a collegial team of 19 legal professionals and report to the Director of Legal Ops and Contracts. Our Legal Department is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years and there will be exciting opportunities for career growth. Hanwha Q CELLS America, headquartered in Irvine, California, has been rapidly expanding its business in North America, including through expansion of products and solutions, including direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing. This position will be in Irvine, California and working hours are Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team including picking up and scanning mail.
  • Provide administrative support to Agiloft as needed - assign a reviewer, assist with comparing, compiling, and filing documents as needed.
  • Insert authorized officers' e-signatures using AdobeSign from Agiloft and distribute executed agreements to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • File and maintain documents in Agiloft and Sharepoint.
  • Process outside counsel invoices, obtain budgets by submitting internal approval system (Cleverse) , and maintain legal spends in google sheet accordingly.
  • Help with responding or forwarding legal inquiries received in general legal inbox as necessary.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by the
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of either law firm or in-house working experience
  • Tech savvy. Proficient in MS Office Suite, G-Suite, PDF, and not afraid of using and learning any new software systems (e.g. Agiloft)
  • Proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal , and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Confidence and ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Dependable and trustworthy
