Job description

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support the JS J7 Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. This role supports the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT) by coordinating Agile project activities, facilitating delivery within a SAFe environment, and supporting configuration management processes.
The ideal candidate will serve as a process coordinator and Scrum coach, guiding teams through Agile delivery, release management, and lifecycle configuration management activities within a DevSecOps environment. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate across technical teams, government stakeholders, and configuration management personnel while ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
This role is 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Coordinate Agile project execution within a SAFe environment, including PI planning, sprint activities, and release coordination
โ€ข Provide Scrum coaching and facilitate Agile ceremonies across cross-functional teams
โ€ข Support infrastructure and software lifecycle configuration management processes
โ€ข Coordinate change management, release tracking, baseline management, and requirement intake activities
โ€ข Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams to support CI/CD and operational delivery
โ€ข Track risks, dependencies, action items, and project deliverables across teams
โ€ข Serve as a liaison between technical teams, configuration management personnel, leadership, and government stakeholders
โ€ข Support documentation, status reporting, and compliance activities within DoD environments

Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
โ€ข At least 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment within DOD programs
โ€ข Knowledge of Configuration Management, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes
โ€ข Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar platforms
โ€ข Strong coordination, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
โ€ข Experience managing cross-team dependencies, change requests, and project delivery activities within Agile environments
