2026 Salary Range ($89,508 - $138,370) yearly w/ locality

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior program analyst, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative corporate policies, practices, and processes for the management of human resources in regards to Civilian Employment Planning. This is accomplished individually and through leadership of ad hoc teams primarily comprised of functional and support representatives who are engaged in specialties involved in the management of human resources in support of Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Air Logistics Complex senior leadership, Wing/Installation senior leadership, and Civilian Personnel Section senior functional experts at Tinker, Hill, Scott, Robins AFBs and other operating locations.

Obtain & maintain a security clearance
May be required to travel to perform temporary duty
May have extended/other than normal duty hours
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
1. In-depth technical knowledge of resources management principles, concepts, regulations and practices, analytical methods and techniques to resolve management problems not susceptible to treatment by standard methods.
2. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations in deriving human resource options for complex, diverse organizations in AFSC.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with AFMC and AFSC leadership to achieve stated positions or to make an adequate case for a particular strategy.
4. Master of advanced management and organizational principles and practices to be used in conjunction with a comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions to develop and implement integrated approaches and solutions to substantive concerns and issues.
5. Ability to plan, organize, and negotiate effectively with senior analysts and leadership/management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources, and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
