Job Description
Our client, a privately held aerospace tooling and precision manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Estimator / Process Engineer to support new and existing aerospace manufacturing projects. This role will focus on evaluating RFQs, developing accurate cost estimates, determining manufacturing processes, and partnering closely with shop leadership to improve operational flow and project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong aerospace manufacturing background, estimating expertise, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities
• Review incoming RFQs and develop detailed cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects
• Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, parts lists, models, and specifications
• Calculate material, labor, machining, tooling, and outside service costs
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and project support
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and operational processes
• Prepare accurate estimates within customer deadlines
• Support additional engineering and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications and Requirements
• 5+ years of estimating experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of aerospace machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience estimating complex assemblies and tight-tolerance components
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
