Job Summary:
The Clinical Apprentice participates in a structured apprenticeship program that combines academic instruction with hands-on, paid work experience in a healthcare environment. This role supports patient care activities under appropriate supervision while developing technical skills, professional behaviors, and employability competencies. The position prepares high school seniors enrolled in an Oklahoma Career Tech Advanced Unlicensed Assistant program to successfully transition into the healthcare workforce following graduation.Position Details:

Apprenticeship Term

July 2026 – June 2027
Aligned with senior year of high school
Opportunity for continued employment after completion of term

Key Dates
Orientation Begins: July 6, 2026

Pay & Schedule

$15.00/hour + shift differentials
Estimated 12–18 hours per week
Schedule coordinated with school and CareerTech program

Eligibility Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Entering senior year
  • Active CNA certification
  • Enrolled in an AUA program at a CareerTech center
  • Able to work at Mercy Hospital OKC
  • Must provide own scrubs
  • Resume required
