Overview

ADP is hiring a Sr. Payroll Implementation Consultant. In this role, you will combine analytic and project management skills with the ability to simplify complex information, helping clients develop the confidence to use our products with ease. You will leverage top‑ranked training programs and world‑class service guidelines to create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation. The primary goal is to successfully implement clients on HCM products and services, adapting solutions to each client’s unique needs and learning opportunities that come with varied questions and challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Be a True Partner: Partner with clients to understand their business and build long‑term trust, becoming the most credible resource for analyzing existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes.
  • Collaborate and Connect: Stay informed about HCM capabilities, new product features, and functionality challenges; work closely with the client project team, sales, and client service stakeholders.
  • Think Like a Client, Act Like an Owner: Recommend and implement the appropriate solutions based on client needs; incorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when delivering ADP solutions.
  • Create and Innovate: Adopt a lifelong learner mentality, participate in process improvement initiatives, and pioneer new initiatives to enhance the client experience.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementation or business consulting.
  • Strong client relationship skills, including the ability to influence and guide clients to the best solution.
  • Recognition of project risks and a proactive approach to documenting and mitigating them.
  • Demonstrated learning agility, critical thinking skills, and application of best practices in new implementation situations.
  • Excellent analytical, time‑management, and communication skills (verbal and written).

A college degree is desirable but not required. Other acceptable experiences include military experience, which is valued for its discipline, commitment, and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry expertise and application of best practices in client consultation.
  • Ability to focus and work effectively under multiple demands.
  • Independent work to provide solutions while also collaborating within a team to accomplish implementation tasks.
  • Comfort in a performance‑based, structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with latest web technologies and knowledge of various operating systems.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and FinancialForce.
  • Highly‑recognized professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP, or HCS.
