Staff assistant and advisor to the DFAS Director and Principal Deputy Director, serving as primary liaison for incoming tasks, inquiries, and administrative issues, ensuring timely routing, tracking, and resolution of sensitive matters.

Review, evaluate, and prioritize administrative issues and programs to provide recommendations to senior leadership on courses of action, policy interpretations, and functional changes.

Independently draft, review, and coordinate agency-level correspondence across internal and external offices for senior leadership approval, ensuring accuracy, spelling, grammar, tone, and consistency across Department and agency policies.

Independently prepare a variety of non-technical correspondences in support of agency initiatives, guidance, and requirements.

Provide key executive administrative support as required, including schedule support, proactively identifying scheduling conflicts, anticipating shifting requirements, and keeping senior leadership informed of critical or impending tasks.
