As an Administrative Aide at Arete, your primary responsibilities include for all our Tucson offices:

  • Monitor and restock all office supplies and snacks/drinks.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external meetings and events.
  • Support facilities as needed
  • Keep common areas organized and clean.
  • Answer door and provide escort support as needed.
  • Provide general administrative and facilities support for daily office tasks.

This is an onsite, non-exempt, non-supervisory, part-time, temporary position based in our Falls Church, VA office.

Experiences and Background We Look For (Required Skills):

  • Pursuing High School diploma or GED or recent graduate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and on a team.
  • Advanced record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures, but also able to suggest improvements.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have (Preferred Skills):

  • Minimum of 1 year working as an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, or similar role.

The salary range for this role is $17 -$18 an hour; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
