Job description

Position Overview

Our Administrative Coordinator is the first-person vendors, visitors and plant employees will see and work with directly, thus you will be the face the company. If you can multitask while working well with others, are able to be looked upon as a resource to fellow employees and can encourage teamwork with others then this role is an opportunity to put those skills to use. A driven, results focused, detail-oriented individual would succeed in this all-encompassing position. Position environment is 90% office, 10% plant floor. 

To provide administrative and technical assistance to the divisional manager. This position reports in office, core hours being 7:30am – 4:30pm.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Work with our Headquarter division in managing accounts payable functions, verifying invoices and coordinating timely payments.
2. Accurately enter new vendors and keeping up to date payment information.
3. Report accurate time sheet records to staffing agency to ensure timely payroll for temporary employees.
4. Tracking attendance, recording sick/vacation time and working with offsite payroll coordinator to ensure consistency.
5. Coordinate with our logistics and scheduling team to ensure timely product deliveries.
6. Covering orders (assisting our customers by answering questions and processing orders) for time zone differences between Wisconsin and California.
7. Assist Divisional Manager in administrative HR and office duties i.e., ordering office/plant supplies and ensuring accurate up to date employee files, etc.
8. Assist in coordinating employee events. (celebrations, lunches and holiday party)
9. Other duties as assigned by the Division Manager or Managers in Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

1. Associate’s degree in human resources preferred; 3-5 years of professional human resources experience considered.
2. Bilingual; fluent in Spanish and English.
3. Educated in sensitivity awareness with a background in California law required.
4. Accounts payable experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension. Green Bay Packaging benefits may vary by position or division. Starting salary $50,000/yr.
