Administration Officer - Emergency Department
Orange Health Service 

About the role
This role is based within the Emergency Department (ED) and involves working a rotating roster that includes both morning and evening shifts, as well as every second weekend. The successful applicant will work as part of a busy administration team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the Emergency Department.
Key responsibilities include admitting patients, completing patient registration and clerical processes, managing patient information accurately, responding to enquiries, and undertaking a range of administrative duties. The role requires strong communication, organisational and customer service skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
The position plays a vital role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring patients receive timely and effective administrative assistance throughout their ED presentation.
