Job description

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who analyzes the needs, conceives and applies professional techniques in all areas of the field of research administration for the CBHSSJB in order to improve research management, tracking of results, and knowledge transfer.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
• Provide administrative professional and technical support when opening and closing client’s requests within the Service Quality & Complaints Commissioner Office (SQ & CCO);
• Assist the Complaints Commissioner (CC) & Assistant Complaints Commissioner (ACC) during an investigation;
• Provide administrative and technical support and assistance to the CC & ACC for data analysis and reporting purposes (e.g. Quarterly Reports, Annual Report and various Committee Reports);
• Assist the CC & ACC in the preparation for various meetings (e.g. Vigilance Committee, Board of Directors, Local Directors, etc.);
• Contributes to the effective and efficient daily operational functioning and general administration of the SQ & CC, as directed by the CC or ACC.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Administration, Humanities, Social Science or other relevant academic discipline.

Experience:
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field;
• Experience in working in a highly confidential work environment.

Knowledge and Abilities:
• Knowledge of administrative methods and techniques, data analysis and reporting;
• Knowledge and experience with management information systems and data bases;
• Knowledge of SIGPAQS (governmental data base & management information system), is an asset;
• Strong ability with data management;
• Ability in administrative procedures, planning and monitoring;
• Excellent writing skills and experience and ability in recording minutes;
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite software/system (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Knowledge of the MSSS network, laws and regulations for an Agency/Regional Board and establishment, is an asset;
• Knowledge of Cree culture and language, and social/health issues is an asset;
• Autonomous and proactive;
• Methodical, organized and able to multi-task and work under pressure;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Good interpersonal and respectful teamwork skills.

Language:
• Fluent in Cree, English and French.

Additional Information:
• Willing to travel, as needed (25%).

• The candidates invited for an interview will be asked to pass the following tests: French, English, Excel and Power point.
