Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).
Associate is expected to operate at a proficient level across the following areas of technical knowledge and skill:

Job Title: Project Manager – Healthcare

Scope of the project:

Client is looking for an IT Healthcare Consultant - Project Manager - Consultant who will be the lead for MMIS Medicaid Systems Operational Management. This position will lead teams that support business-critical operations for MCO enrollment, claims and encounter processing and payment and other support functions.

Daily duties/responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and perform operations and support activities for MMIS, Encounter Processing System, and other supporting systems. To include communication and coordination with vendors, Office of Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, etc.
  • Conduct vendor management including monitoring service level agreements.
  • Design and develop desk aides and process flows for new and existing service lines.
  • Train team members to use desk aides, process flows, and ticketing system to perform operational support.
  • Maintains an effective organizational team and motivates diverse staff to accomplish mission critical operations and objectives. These teams provide production support, helpdesk, interface/EDI support, and stakeholder monitoring and User Acceptance Testing
  • Oversee incident and issue management. Ensures documentation, tracking, escalation and resolution for all ticket types. Ensures timely resolution of production issues.
  • Identifies and mitigates operational issues and ensures decisions and actions are well-documented.
  • Handles internal and external escalations and requests and ensures they are satisfactorily resolved, communicating issues and outcomes to appropriate personnel. Ensures work is assigned appropriately and escalations are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensures compliance with security (CMS, SSA, etc.) and monitors all findings and recommendations to completion.
  • Promotes workforce engagement and a safe, professional, and productive work environment for all team members
  • Implements, monitors and follows Standard Operating Procedures and alerts team when practice differs from SOP.
  • Oversees release management activities stakeholder communication, pre-implementation planning, readiness checks, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Provide support to change management by performing and coordinating backlog grooming and maintenance and ensuring compliance with appropriate approval gates.

Required skills (rank in order of importance):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field. 5+ years of equivalent experience in business/systems analysis and/or computer systems development/modification may be substituted.
  • 3+ years of prior experience managing system operations and or administrative program functions in healthcare environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management – managing system implementations or enhancements.
  • Ability to provide incident management on call and after hours

Preferred skills (rank in order of importance):

  • Prior experience managing operations of Medicaid Enterprise systems.
  • Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and MMIS domain concepts
  • Experience with ticketing software
  • Experience with writing standard operating procedures for new system implementations.
  • AWS Cloud Certifications
