Job description

Are you ready to shape the future of industrial 3D printing and ignite growth for a global leader in the Great Lakes region? Phillips Additive Manufacturing is seeking a high-energy, technically-minded Sales Engineer to serve as our market trailblazer, opening doors and fueling the front end of our business development engine. In this vital role, you will be the face of our entry-to-mid-level additive technologies, engaging education-focused accounts, nurturing early-stage adopters, and conducting consultative, application-fit discoveries to help customers confidently identify the right solutions. By proactively prospecting high-fit accounts, qualifying inbound leads, and expanding our market footprint, you will transform raw curiosity into high-value pipeline, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor from day one.

This is a highly collaborative position where your strategic knowledge will enable you to feed an enterprise-level ecosystem. While you will directly champion and close entry-level, educational, and post-processing opportunities, you will also play a pivotal role in our broader sales strategy by identifying when an account is ready for heavy industrial scaling—seamlessly handing off complex opportunities like LPBF, DED, and hybrid manufacturing to our Regional Account Managers. Armed with exceptional CRM discipline, a passion for continuous technical learning, and a collaborative spirit that bridges the gap between our applications team, OEM partners, and clients, you will champion Phillips' mission and build a career at the absolute cutting edge of advanced manufacturing.

Phillips offers a world-beating collaborative culture and competitive pay and benefits. In our 65 year history, Phillips has grown from a handful of employees to over 900 supplying and supporting manufacturing technology in the United States and around the world. Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00 annually plus commission and bonus opportunities. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.

Phillips Corporation is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Phillips Corporation is an E-Verify participant.
