JOB SUMMARYย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

Product Strategy & Ownershipย 

  • Define and own theย product roadmapย for 3D-printed spacecraft componentsย ย 
  • Translate customer needs intoย clear product requirements and specificationsย ย 
  • Serve asย product owner, aligning engineering, manufacturing, and business teamsย ย 
  • Identifyย and prioritizeย adjacent product opportunitiesย beyond theย initialย propellant tankย ย 

Technical & Performance Definitionย 

  • Establishย key performance metrics (KPPs/KPIs)ย including mass efficiency, pressure capability, reliability, manufacturability, and costย ย 
  • Defineย performance, cost, and schedule targetsย aligned with market needs and business goalsย ย 
  • Partner with engineering to ensure designs meet mission and business requirementsย ย 

Business Model & Economicsย 

  • Develop and maintain theย product business case, including:ย ย 
  • Unit economics and cost modelsย ย 
  • Pricing strategyย ย 
  • Volume assumptions and scaling scenariosย ย 
  • Evaluateย make vs. buy, vertical integration, and supply chain strategyย ย 

Go-to-Market & Customer Engagementย

This role will define not justย a single product, but the foundation of aย scalable product line in 3D-printed spacecraft hardware. You will directly shape how advanced manufacturing translates intoย real, adopted space systems.ย 

Compensation:ย 

Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 to $175,000/per yearย 
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and isย determinedย within a range. Your actual base salary will beย determinedย on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.ย ย Ourย benefitย plansย includeย medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan,ย short and long termย disability and life insurance. We also offer flexible PTO, along with 11 paid holidays, sick time and paid parental leave.ย 

This is a full-time position in San Jose, California,ย Hybrid, or Remote. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, andย services.
