Field Services Engineer – Data CenterIntroduction

We are seeking a Field Services Engineer – Data Center to provide onsite data center operations, server hardware support, and customer-facing technical assistance. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on server hardware experience, Linux administration skills, and basic networking knowledge who thrive in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day data center operational support
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace server hardware components
  • Perform OS installations, firmware upgrades, and GPU configuration
  • Monitor systems, collect logs, and support break/fix activities
  • Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and data center teams
  • Manage tickets, inventory, shipping/receiving, and technical documentation
  • Support hardware deployments, system testing, and operational validation
  • Act as the onsite technical point of contact for operational issues and escalations
RequirementsRequired Skills
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware troubleshooting, repair, and parts replacement
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Linux CLI experience and ability to read Linux logs
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Customer-focused with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work on ladders when required
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including after-hours and weekends
