We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager on behalf of a respected construction organization specializing in complex hospitality renovation and adaptive reuse projects.Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a significant hospitality refurbishment and adaptive reuse project in Fort Myers, Florida. This individual will oversee all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction and planning through execution, turnover, and closeout.
This role is ideal for a construction leader who excels in renovation environments, understands the complexities of working within existing structures, and can effectively manage project teams, subcontractors, consultants, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from preconstruction, buyout, and planning through execution, turnover, and warranty.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, contracts, invoices, and pay applications to ensure financial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
  • Develop sequencing and execution plans that account for existing conditions and operational constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards throughout all phases of construction.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Proven experience leading hospitality renovations, adaptive reuse projects, occupied renovations, or major interior construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction budgeting, procurement, scheduling, contract administration, and project controls.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and owner relationships.
  • Ability to navigate complex renovation conditions and unforeseen field challenges.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Hospitality renovation or hotel refurbishment experience.
  • Adaptive reuse project experience.
  • Experience managing projects within occupied facilities.
  • Background in high-end interior renovations or finish-sensitive environments.
  • Experience collaborating directly with ownership groups and stakeholders.
