Job description

Volunteer Opportunity

For Riverton City

OPENING DATE: 04/15/2026

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

Riverton City is currently seeking coaches and volunteers for the following activities:

Coaches Needed: We are currently seeking coaches for the following youth leagues.

  • Youth Baseball (August)
  • Flag Football (September)
  • Street Hockey (September-October)

Coaches will be responsible for managing their team throughout the season. Games are typically held twice each week between 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are welcome for several community events, including:

  • Half Marathon (March)
  • Easter Events (March/April)
  • Town Days (July 3-4)

Additional volunteer opportunities may be available throughout the year as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: All applicants must:

  • Pass a background check, including Utah and National child abuse offender registry screenings.
  • Complete child abuse recognition and prevention training (required every 3 years).

Coaches only:

  • Complete concussion awareness training (required every 2 years).
