JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Strategic Account Management team, the Junior Account Manager provides operational and administrative support across B-Stock's enterprise Mobile and General Merchandise seller accounts. This role focuses on accurate and timely execution across marketplace setup and maintenance, reporting, listing and lotting support, buyer communications, and cross-functional coordination.

The Junior Account Manager will initially work primarily to support Account Managers and help ensure client needs and internal action items are completed accurately and on time. As this individual develops their account knowledge and capabilities, they will have opportunities to participate more directly in client conversations and grow toward greater account ownership. This individual will work in a hybrid function at our Boston office location 2-3 days per week.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Account Managers with the day-to-day operational and administrative needs of assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Coordinate listing, lotting, and third-party marketplace workflows - including warehouse setup - ensuring marketplace and inventory information is complete, accurate, and entered on time, in partnership with Product and other internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare client recaps, account updates, ad hoc reports, and other client-ready materials.
  • Review marketplace data and reporting to identify issues, patterns, and basic trends, and clearly communicate relevant findings.
  • Assist with buyer communications and dispute-related matters in partnership with Client Services/Mediation.
  • Track client requests, internal action items, deadlines, and follow-ups, working cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Client Services/Mediation, and other internal teams to resolve issues and support client needs.
  • Develop an understanding of each assigned client's business, marketplace, inventory, and operational requirements.
  • Execute recurring and one-time projects that benefit clients, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in client communications as appropriate, with the opportunity to take on greater client-facing responsibility and account ownership over time.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the Account Management team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • 1+ years of experience in account support, operations, customer service, or sales.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, including spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Effective organization, time management, and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing work accurately.
  • Comfort managing detailed, recurring operational responsibilities while balancing ad hoc requests and projects.
  • Ability to review data and reports, identify relevant information, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when identifying issues, coordinating next steps, and escalating concerns.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, industries, and client requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management platform.
  • Experience with reporting or data-visualization tools such as Tableau or Metabase.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients, account teams, or cross-functional operational processes.
  • Experience preparing reports, client recaps, presentations, or other business communications.
  • Familiarity with recommerce, e-commerce, online marketplaces, mobile devices, or general merchandise.

The pay rate for this role will range between $27.88 to $33.65, per hour. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant's work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
