Accounting managers are experts in their field, and they work with other departments to ensure the company's financial matters are in order. They prepare financial reports, forecast financial needs of the company, prepare documentation for tax purposes, and manage account files. They also supervise the other accountants, junior accountants, and assistants in the department. In large corporations, the accounting manager works under the financial manager; in smaller businesses, they may serve a dual role as both financial and accounting manager.

  • Research, document, and implement accounting conclusions for complex contracts, new products, pricing models, usage-based revenue streams, and contract modifications.
  • Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda and revenue accounting policies.
  • Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and improve scalability.
  • Drive the strategy, design, and optimization of Salesforce and NetSuite integrations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve contract management, billing, revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Oversee revenue close activities, reconciliations, analytics, and financial reporting.
  • Design and enhance revenue-related internal controls.
  • Manage and mentor revenue accounting team members while building a scalable operating model.

Key Qualifications

  • Salesforce and quote-to-cash process experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading automation, process improvement, or systems implementation initiatives.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Why This Role
