Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, accounts receivable, cash management, and month-end/year-end closing activities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading financial processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end accounting functions.
  • Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and customer payment processing.
  • Manage cash balances, banking transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Complete inventory reconciliations and job cost analysis.
  • Prepare tax reports, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset tracking.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and support documentation requirements.
  • Generate reports for leadership and assist with year-end financial audits.
  • Support special projects and continuous process improvements.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 3+ years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (Access experience is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
