Job description

Truity Partners is supporting a client in downtown Milwaukee, WI with their search for an Investment Accounting Analyst. This is a 3-6 month temporary opportunity (possibility of temp-to-hire opportunities) and offers a hybrid work schedule. Compensation is estimated at $30-$35 per hour, with possible higher compensation based on experience and qualifications.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review daily account reconciliations and research discrepancies
  • Process and verify client cash activity
  • Assist with accounting adjustments and maintain accurate records
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and Excel reporting
  • Support process documentation and other operational needs


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of accounting, finance, reconciliation, or investment operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and investigate discrepancies through resolution
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and/or capital markets preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel; investment accounting system experience is a plus
