The Role:
Work Model: Hybrid - Virtual on Fridays
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary plus Bonus Plan.

Summary / Primary Role:
The Sr. Manager, Accounting will have primary responsibility for overseeing and managing the financial accounting and reporting functions of an assigned division. This role will ensure accurate and timely financial information, compliance with accounting regulations, and the implementation of effective internal controls. The Sr. Manager, Accounting plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial health and decision-making processes.
What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Assist in forecasting future financial trends.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
  • with financial regulations.
  • Regularly assess and enhance internal controls as needed.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and reviews.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP is required.
  • Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Strong experience with general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in fixed assets and supporting multiple entities, divisions, or locations is required.
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred; experience with any ERP system is required.
  • Experience with sales and used tax returns is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
