About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounting Associate to join a growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting key accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, advanced Excel capabilities, and a desire to learn new systems and processes.
This position offers hands-on exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with an experienced accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform reconciliations across multiple datasets, vendors, and accounts
  • Maintain and track budgets, expenses, and financial records
  • Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and validate large volumes of financial data
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and data inconsistencies
  • Support process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information

Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Recent graduates with relevant internships or accounting experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Conditional formulas
    • Data analysis and reconciliation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
