Description:

We are looking for an entry-to-mid-level Account Manager that would be responsible for managing and nurturing customer relationships within their portfolio of Accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of the defense supply chain and the ability to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements:
  • Streamline and maintain standard procedures used to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to the VP of Business Development
  • Work with the Business Development team to develop and execute sales objectives, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate a cross-functional team to review opportunities and develop winning pricing strategies that maximize the company’s capture rate
  • Conduct market research as needed to identify opportunities
  • Responsible for presenting regular reports on account status, sales performance and market insights
  • Manage customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) and subsequent Sales Order process
  • Work with necessary departments to resolve customer Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Maintain frequent touchpoints with customers
  • Manage review, identification and quoting of opportunities on various B2B platforms
  • Coordinate amongst internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute customer contracts
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s offerings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of Account Management or related field experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the A&D industry preferred
  • Eperience with Quantum Control ERP System referred
  • 10% travel required
