Job description

AWS is looking for an experienced Account Manager to support a strategic customer and recognized market leader in the game industry with primary locations in the Bay Area (as well as locations like New York, Austin, Seattle, Los Angeles). This customer sits at the intersection of game development, distribution, and player engagement, and operate with significant technical depth and scale.
This role includes regular in-person engagement with diverse customer stakeholders (tech functions and business, including C-Suite). To be effective in this position, the ideal candidate will be based in the Bay Area and able to meet onsite as needed.
The customers in this territory are complex and often favor highly customized or alternative approaches to infrastructure. Success in this role requires a consultative mindset, technical fluency, and a long-term approach to relationship building. You will need to navigate dynamic product environments, influence across levels, and earn trust with both engineering and business leaders.
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning is increasingly important, as our customers explore how AIML can support personalized player experiences, real-time operations, and advanced content creation.
Key job responsibilities
- Building a competitive growth plan based on customer outcomes
- Establish strong multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, and executive functions
- Partnering with AWS technical and non-technical resources

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.
