What You’ll Do as a Construction Account Manager

In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing and managing a diverse customer base, developing long-term relationships, and driving business development across multiple accounts.

You’ll:

  • Hit the ground running by making immediate sales calls in your territory
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all organizational levels
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand account packages
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple sales offices to support your accounts
  • Navigate complex manufacturing environments to uncover and solve challenges
  • Provide solutions that deliver win/win outcomes for customers and Kirby Risk
  • Represent Kirby Risk with professionalism in every customer and vendor interaction

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience (industry experience in Electrical Supply is a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships in a competitive territory
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or contradictory situations
  • Ability to follow company processes while applying creativity to solve challenges
  • Skilled at building relationships at all organizational levels within manufacturing facilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software

What to Expect in This Role

  • Territory supported by multiple Kirby Risk sales offices
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers (daily, with some overnight as needed)
  • Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for customer or vendor events
