EventEQ is seeking an Account Associate to support live event productions and client partnerships in Columbia, Maryland. This role is focused on assisting with event planning, proposal coordination, onsite execution, and client communication for corporate meetings, live events, and productions.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Account Associate, you will support Account Executives and Project Managers while helping coordinate all aspects of event planning and onsite execution.
Client Communication - Respond to customer inquiries and gather information regarding event requirements, budgets, venues, timelines, and technical needs
Proposal Coordination - Work with internal teams to develop, review, and issue event proposals and supporting documentation
Event Logistics - Coordinate venue requirements, equipment logistics, labor needs, and event schedules to ensure successful execution
Client Relationship Management - Maintain communication with clients throughout the planning and production process while responding to updates and changes
Equipment Coordination - Partner with logistics teams to confirm equipment availability, substitutions, and cross-rental needs
Warehouse Review - Verify equipment packages prior to shipment to ensure event readiness and accuracy
Contract & Payment Support - Assist with contract execution, deposit coordination, invoicing, and payment tracking
Onsite Event Management - Support event installation, operation, and strike while coordinating labor and operational adjustments onsite
Documentation & Billing - Prepare final event documentation, labor summaries, and equipment details for billing purposes
Client Follow-Up - Follow up after events to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships
What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing technical proposals for corporate meetings, trade shows, hospitality, live events, or related industries
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
