About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Program Manager to lead a multi-year initiative focused on strengthening the electrical grid across the Gulf South region. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of program execution, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of resiliency projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between company and utility partners, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in program delivery.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in Program or Project Manager (preferably in the electric utility industry or a related field).
  • In-depth knowledge of resiliency planning, grid modernization, and utility regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing financials, large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent Customer and Executive Management relationship skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and facilitate focused and cross-functional meetings and calls.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards in the electric utility industry

  • Utility and Contractor experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
