Responsibilities

THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead co-engineering programs between AMD, Microsoft, and OEM partners, enabling Windows Security features across AMD platforms. This role requires strong program management skills combined with technical expertise to drive security initiatives from concept to production. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of Windows Security initiatives across AMD's product portfolio.
  • Own and execute cross-functional programs from pre-silicon planning through production release.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, customer support, and external partners to align on roadmaps, priorities, and technical deliverables.
  • Manage full program lifecycle, including schedules, risk management, and milestone tracking.
  • Develop and maintain program management artifacts such as dashboards, forecasts, and risk/issue logs.
  • Drive completion of all required deliverables, with a focus on customer quality feedback and established deadlines 
  • Creates and maintains project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs 
  • Identify action or mitigation plans for issues or risks that arise during the project lifecycle 
  • Collaborate with core teams and execution teams to identify areas that require special attention or escalations to identify corrective actions 
  • Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports 
  • Strong self-motivator, with a sense of urgency when needed and strong crisis management skills 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Proven Project & Program Management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of software development and security technologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with software testing/verification
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Horizontal leadership/Matrix management experience is required, People management is desirable 
  • Flexible working schedule to manage global program execution team (Asia and North America emphasis) 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desired
