Program Manager - MDM


The Program Manager serves as the primary liaison between project teams,

execution teams and the client. Maintaining an expertise in all facets of their respective service area, Program Managers work with subject matter experts and the sales team to defin

eexecution requirements for their projects and ensure all deliverables meet or exceed Pivotree's high standards of quality and excellence and do so within budget.


As a hybrid and adaptable leader, this resource must be highly flexible—willing and able to pivot into hands-on Business Analyst (BA) and Scrum Master capacities when project need

dictate. Program Managers take complete ownership over their projects by independently developing smart and efficient solutions, managing deliveries and working with execution teams to ensure their projects satisfy client expectations and conform to all departmental performance metrics, both financial and otherwise

Responsibilities

● Face of the project to clients, managing the client relationship with effective communication

and instilling trust, running productive meetings and distilling information quickly

● Manages full project life cycle from initiation to closeout and delivers project financial/status reporting, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget

● Managing project resources and trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost

● Actively support hybrid project execution by executing hands-on tasks, including leading and capturing requirements.

● Serve as a hands-on Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator as required, running daily scrums, managing backlogs, planning sprints, and removing blockers for delivery teams.

● Integrate modern AI tools (e.g., Gemini, meeting assistants, automated scheduling etc) into daily workflows to optimize personal and team productivity. Including AI workflows for drafting project status reports, meeting minutes, and proactively identifying potential delivery risks from project logs.

● Assist the pre-sales team with project scoping and writing SOWs & Change Requests

● Author and maintain appropriate project documentation, tracking and dashboarding throughout the project lifecycle, as relevant to the applied delivery methodology (agile, waterfall, watergile)

● Proactively identify and track scope, budgetary and resource risks and ensure they are escalated and mitigated accordingly

● Establish success metrics and KPIs at project kick off and oversee the tracking and completion through to project completion

● Oversee project close out activities including final financial metrics, value presentations and lessons learned/retro sessions

● Accountable for maintaining appropriate resource allocation and time tracking throughout the duration of the project

● Assist project teams with complex problems or decisions and provide conflict resolution when necessary

● Monitor project team member performance, working closely with Functional Managers to set expectations and provide performance related feedback

● Utilize existing relationships to look for new opportunities to grow Pivotree's business and expand existing accounts

● Ability to travel and attend client on sites as required (e.g. project kick-offs, quarterly steerco’s and other key milestones)


Requirements

● 5+ years of relevant experience in the eCommerce, Product Content/Data,Supply Chain or Business Strategy/Consulting fields

● Experience of multiple Project Management methodologies and delivery approaches (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Waterfall)

● Experience of using DevOps tools and techniques within an Agile environment (Jira)

● Openness to adopting and mastering AI productivity tools; completion

of mandatory internal AI training will be required.

● Experience of successfully delivering a portfolio of multiple concurrent programs and projects

● Experience with large scale PIM, MDM, eCommerce and Supply Chain software

implementation

● Familiarity with Master Data Management concepts (data hierarchi

es, taxonomies, schema & attribution, relational data, meta data, classification)

● Working knowledge of MDM tools an advantage (STIBO,Precisely/EnterWorks, Syndigo/Riversand, Informatica)

● Proven experience of managing, leading and motivating project teams

● Proven experience managing, tracking, and forecasting budgets

for large scale, $multi-million programs and projects

● Proven ability and success in developing strategic relationships and communicating effectively with senior execs and key client stakeholders

● Ability to quickly understand core project goals and deliverables and communicate those objectives clearly and confidently across all levels of stakeholder, both internal and external
