Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 14 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Credentialing team! The Compliance and 340B Analyst will have two distinct sets of responsibilities that both require a similar skill set. The individual will work with the Sr. Director of Compliance and Risk Management in executing the HHS OIG 7 elements of an effective compliance program. This individual will support health center staff to achieve and sustain compliance with regulatory standards including 340B, HRSA, FTCA, CMS, and other outside stakeholders. The second set of responsibilities focuses on administrative and analytics support of Erieโ€™s 340B Pharmacy Program. Under the leadership of the Senior Pharmacy Business Data Analyst, this individual will be responsible for preparing and processing significant data sets with outside vendors, ensuring accuracy of internal and external data for audit and analytic purposes, and reporting and analysis to support the 340B program.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Compliance (50%)

  • Provide support around compliance, risk, and privacy for all of Erie.
  • Facilitate annual compliance training.
    • Training compliance reporting and follow-up
    • Stakeholder reporting for compliance training attestation
    • Audit training plans for learner enrollment and module assignment.
  • Policy, procedures, and other document management
    • Maintain policies and other documents in the document management system.
    • Facilitate timely review, updates, and approval of policies and other compliance documents.
    • Support scheduling and review process of policies to go before the board of directors.
  • Audit management
    • Promote awareness of reporting any outside audit, site visit, or data request to compliance.
    • Tracking and reporting of audits, site visits, and outside data requests
    • Provide support as needed for audits, site visits, and outside data requests.

340B (50%)

  • Prepare 340B pharmacy dispense data for upload to external vendors (340B ESP, Truzo, Beacon, etc.) and upload data on a timely basis. If any claims are flagged as non-conforming or the integrity of the file is questionable, promptly report any issues to the Senior Pharmacy Business Data Analyst.
  • Follow a frequently evolving standard operating procedure (SOP) for data submission. Always follow the most up-to-date data gathering and submission instructions. Where possible, contribute to the teamโ€™s ongoing monitoring of changes to vendor and manufacturer rules.
  • Track claims data from submission reports to rebate submission files, and ultimately to whether a 340B rebate is received or denied.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with four (4) years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, security, finance, QI, and/or risk management required; OR
  • Associate degree or two years of college, with two (2) years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, security, finance, QI, and/or risk management required; OR
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university with one (1) year of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, security, finance, QI, and/or risk management required.

Skills and Knowledge

Required:

  • Knowledge and understanding of systems within a community health care setting.
  • Ability to learn new systems (document management, learning management, stakeholder portals, Office 365 applications, and more).
  • Ability to follow established procedures, protocols, and system instructions.
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel
  • Unfailing ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple online portals (TPAs, wholesalers, 340B ESP, Truzo, Beacon, learning management system, document management system, etc.)
  • Competence in document preparation using Microsoft Word, data collection using Microsoft Excel and competence in using Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
