About the Role

 

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing - 2nd Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing - 2nd Shift, you will be accountable for producing consistent, high-quality dough by accurately mixing ingredients according to established recipes while maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards. This role is critical to ensuring product consistency, supporting production schedules, and delivering finished products that meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality expectations.

  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

 

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

 

  • Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure consistent dough quality and recipe compliance.
  • Control ingredient measurements, mixing times, and temperatures to meet product specifications.
  • Support production flow by providing dough availability aligned with line capacity requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and enter mixing data into SAP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Inspect and verify mixing equipment performance, scale accuracy, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through effective sanitation practices.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum six (6) months of mixer, manufacturing, or related production experience.
  • Ability to follow recipes and operate mixing equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate production systems and equipment interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

 

  • Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing or bakery environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar production tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of dough mixing processes, fermentation, and temperature control techniques.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
