The Director of SupplyChainis responsible for

  • Sourcing / purchasing Strategic direction of essential food and supplies
  • Supplier relationships - managing existing
  • New supply distribution contracts negotiating
  • Inventory controls development for new food supplies
  • Efficiency supply chain - developing strategies for improving includingperformance KPis.
  • Supply chain is cost-effective, reliable, and compliant.
  • Purchasing methods large-scale diversified commodities / government,non-profit, and contractual requirements and regulations.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Direct purchase, sourcing, distributionof food and supplies.
  • Procurement / sourcing strategies StrategyDevelopment cost-effective.
  • inventory management Set up goals operationalneed and financials.
  • Manage inventory across theorganization.
  • System tracking shipments,inventory, supply of goods.
  • Directs sourcing from reliablesuppliers and vendors.
  • Build long-term relationships withvendors suppliers.
  • Food Sourcing process from donors,farmers etc..
  • Negotiates with suppliers vendorsto secure advantageous terms.
  • Create a purchase order system;organizes and confirms delivery of goods and services.
  • Report system set up quality,quantity, costs, standardization, value analysis, and price trends food materials.
  • Oversee Annual capital expensebudget.
  • Attend State / Nationalconferences meetings.
  • Proven efficiency andeffectiveness with Strong analytical skills
Requirements

Skills needed:
