What You'll Do:
Are you organized, detail-oriented and passionate about supporting programs that make a difference? The Ohio Department of Health is seeking to fill THREE Office Professional 2 positions to provide administrative and records management support for the Complex Medical Help (CMH) program. Key responsibilities are:
- Enter and maintain medical and financial documentation in electronic record and document management systems.
- Prepare, format, proofread and update a variety of documents using Microsoft Office Applications.
- Review records for accuracy and completeness, identify discrepancies, and update information as needed.
- Search, compile, organize and summarize information to support reports and program operations.
- Maintain confidential client health and fiscal records in compliance with HIPAA, agency policies and established procedures.
- Receive, log, index and track incoming medical and financial documents within the agency's document management system.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems and retrieve records to fulfill information requests.
- Update case record information and document locations.
- Process incoming main and scanned documents, including preparing records for electronic conversion, indexing, and storage.
- Generate routing correspondence, prepare copies and support general office and administrative functions.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and coordination of office equipment maintenance.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: May be confined to work area for long periods of time; may perform high-volume, repetitive tasks with short turnaround.

Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
